It’s time again for our 18th annual chili cook-off
– Kinship Chilifest –
Hosted at the Summit Brewing Ratskellar
Food is free!* Come and test out 9 different chilis our cooks have created and cast your ballot to see who from among us will take home the belt. If you feel the need, folks can bring food, deserts or chili additions to share with the crowd. Drinks will be available from Summit Brewing Company, including many non-alcoholic options.
Our Chilifest has always been a thinly veiled attempt to spend time with lots of friends and family (and their friends and family) in a wonderfully comfortable, informal setting. Most who have come once, have returned every time after! Come see what this is all about – our Kinship with one another.
*As your entry fee this year we ask that you bring non-perishable food items or healthcare supplies to donate to 360 Community Food Shelf in Apple Valley. We will also take cash/venmo donations to either purchase more supplies or donate directly to 360 Communities at their preference.

*Bring a cupcake (not muffin) tin to sample freely! We will also supply tasting cups to sample from as well if needed.
Doors open for a social hour – 11:00 AM
Ballots explained and spoons distributed – 12:00
Results – 1:00(ish)
Doors close around 3:00 PM
